Motorola V1150 2 Mega Pixel Camera Phone
This 2 mega-pixel camera takes still and moving images combined with a VGA camera for 2-way video calling. Then shares via Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS).

The V1150 features include the following:

  • Progressive downloading to view media files on demand
  • Support of AAC+, MPEG4, WMV, WMA, MP3 and Real Video/Audio files
  • Advanced speaker-independent voice recognition: state a number/name and be connected without pre-recording
  • Over the air synchronization with the PC via SyncML1
  • WAP 2.0 browser

    While Europeans are already using this model, The Motorola V1150 is not expected to be available in the U.S. until Q4 2005.

    Samsung E720

    A high-end consumer targeted handset, the E720 (91x45x23.3mm, 90g) includes a 1-Megapixel camera (1152x864 pixels), video camera, MP3/AAC/AAC+ player, MP3 ringtones and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.

    The E720 clamshell design has an internal arial so it's both klight and small. It supports 64-voice polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. Ringtones, Java games, video and images can be downloaded to the phone from MMS or via an internet connected computer. With a choice of USB or Bluetooth wireless connectivity, the E720 is intended to be be easy to connect to your computer. Audio playback for the E720 has Play/Pause and skip track buttons on the front of the phone, which can be used without opening the unit. The manufacturer claims a standby duration of up to 200 hours, and communications useage of up to 5 and a half hours.
